Manufacturing Day Celebrated at TEP with Trivia and Treats

Celebrated annually on the first Friday of October, Manufacturing Day (MFG Day) is the biggest opportunity to inspire the industry’s next generation. With the majority of our tenants working in some capacity of manufacturing, we honored such a joyous occasion with themed trivia and complimentary coffee. 

Early morning on the 6th, we popped up in the lobby of TEP to greet community members as they entered the building while simultaneously challenging them to a quick quiz all about manufacturing:

With three of our incredible tenants – Kemira (chemical manufacturing), Abbott (medical manufacturing), and VERO Biotech (medical manufacturing) – all being in the industry, we certainly thought they’d pass with flying colors. Surprisingly, only 20 percent got question 1 right, 35 percent for question 2, and 18.3 percent correctly answered question 3. But we’re blaming it on the fact that it was early morning, before their cup of coffee.
