Introducing Legacy Labs at Science Square

On Monday, April 15, the new community name and building sign for what was formerly known as Technology Enterprise Park (TEP) was unveiled. Tenants were officially introduced to Legacy Labs at Science Square, the first commercially-available, life sciences focused offering in Atlanta. And since our academic and private tenants are leaving their own legacy with innovative new products and research, we invited community members to share more about the impact they’ll be making and one day, leaving behind.

Powered by a vibrant and engaged community, Legacy Labs lives at the intersection of technology, discovery, and academia, where new ideas will be forged and where energetic visionaries converge to shape the future. To piggyback off this, we asked our community members what they wanted their legacies to be. Below are some of our favorite responses:

  • Daijah Rolling, Vero Biotech: “I want our legacy to depict our love/use for science to ensure the health and safety of our product.”

  • Brian Lee, Vero Biotech: “Leading the way in innovation.”

  • Carley DeGennaro, Abbott: “Improving quality of life for more patients.”

  • Sedrick Mayfield, Vero Biotech: “To spread kindness, joy, and knowledge.”

  • Isidore Jey, Abbott: “I want to influence a new culture of manufacturing excellence and operational efficiency.”

As pioneers in continuous pursuit of fostering a collaborative culture, we are excited to be part of this exciting new legacy.
